I recently switched from dsl to cable. I purchased the WRT54GS router. My main computer works great. My laptop works great with a built in wifi.
My problem is my husband's computer located on the second floor. Ism Publisher. I am currently using Netopia USB wireless adapter. This was included with my Westlink modem when I was using dsl. The upstairs connection was slow and at times did not receive signal.
I then purchased a links range expander, connected it, and, everything went crazy. I kept recieving connectivity problems.
I had excellent signal strength but I could not access the internet.
