Qnap Station Rss Update
Hey guys, Hoping someone can help with this. Hoping it hasn't already been posted as I couldn't see a thread that describes it. I have a Diskstation 213J and use the Download Station as a torrent client. I had setup the RSS feeds to download torrents with filters etc.
All going well for quite a while. On the 24/4 I noticed that the RSS feed was not updating. Waited a few days, same issue. Now the RSS feed has totally vanished from Download Station and is not appearing under RSS Feeds anymore. I have tried to re-add the URL for the RSS feed and it won't accept it.
I added the same URL for the RSS feed into uTorrent on my PC and it works and is up to date, so that suggests to me it's the Download Station package. I also noticed that on the same day that this stopped working I rec'd a DSM update so I am thinking this has caused this. Any help/advice on how I can get this working again?

Hi guys I'm having the same issue with DS213j (DSM 5.2-5592 Update 3) After the last update I noticed that RSS feed has not been updated I re-installed DS - it didn't help I tried to re-add RSS feed but can't - I've got an Error: 'The operation failed'. But fortunately I could add the needed RSS feed - I've added another RSS feed and after editing it I could add needed RSS Feed but unfortunately RSS Feed is not updating yet. I wrote an e-mail to Support Synology and they advised me to re-install OS on my device.
I'm wondering what torrent client to choose for my needs: 1) Must support SOCKS5 proxy 2) Must support RSS feeds with auto start in real-time or at most couple minutes. I tried Download Station, but the minimum time for the rss feed to update is 12 hours which is way too long for my needs. I also tried Transmission, but it seems the latest version does not support proxies anymore even if you update the json config file manually. Please advise if there are other options or if you found a way to make it work with Download Station or Transmission.
