Quicken Loan Fresh Start Program

Original review: Feb. 9, 2018 Few week back I applied for a loan on Quicken Loans website.

I talked over the phone with one of their specialists. Their offer was one of the worst I received high fees and high mortgage rate, the next day I called this lady and told her I will not go ahead with their process.

That did not matter to them, since then I have received at least 3 dozen of emails and the same number of phone calls, still get phone calls and emails from them. They even send the application forms supposedly I agreed to continue with them. I keep asking them to remove my name from their call list and that does not matter to them.

There are newer employer reviews for Quicken Loans. See Most Recent. Senior Fresh Start Credit Consultant in. A more structured program is needed. Fresh start program quicken loans have credit score or 610..own home...looking for a loan to make repairs on home we own. Any problems starting to get. Ok so my credit score is 574 i want to raise it for future home purchase, so as i was doing some online searching i came across quicken loans 'fresh start.

The worst ever loan company I had to deal with. Original review: Feb. 9, 2018 I heard about Quicken Loans and Rocket Mortgage through advertisements. I was ready to start my house search and after doing a little shopping around, decided to go with them for the ease of using their online system. I provided them with every piece of information before I even had an accepted offer, like every lender they need verification of your entire financial history. My offer got accepted on December 27th, with a close date of January 23rd, the close was kind of short because my offer was accepted about a week after I submitted it.

Youssef was my loan officer, I received no less than five emails and several texts asking if I had found a house before I actually had, it was a little annoying but I didn't worry about it. I was told to reach out to him before I put in an offer on a home. Well, I couldn't get a hold of him when we did put down an offer - I put in an offer anyway.

He eventually did get back to me several hours later. When going over the loan estimate out of pocket costs were much higher than I anticipated. Maybe I asked the wrong questions at first, but that is when I learned - on my own - what points were. There were $2,000 in points to get me to the rate that I was offered, basically reducing my interest rate by.376%. Host Booter Complete Package Bots, Booters, Fud Packer, Binder here.

I told him I didn't want the points and after some back and forth, I finally got the rate without points and locked in the rate. Like others have stated in reviews they wanted a good faith deposit for the appraisal, they did not get it. I refused and they ultimately decided to proceed without it.

(thankfully I pushed back, because I would have lost that money later on. Keep reading).

On 1/2 my loan had cleared initial underwriting. Now I was handed off to a purchase specialist Brittany, I was asked for more financial information, which I provided.

This is where things start to go downhill. All of a sudden on 1/10 I get a message that I needed to get a plumbing and mold inspection. Brittany called me and said that the appraiser thinks there is a leak coming from the master bathroom. I asked for the appraisal but she didn't have it yet, and I was confused because how could they not have it if they are saying that the appraiser said there were issues. Well, my wife and I quickly lined up a licensed plumber and mold inspector to come out that Friday, my real estate agent let them in the home since it is vacant. The inspections came back that there was no leak, and no mold. I figured that would be the end of the issues.
